Jason Dykstra works with churches to transform conflict and facilitate congregational renewal. Working across North America, Jason specializes in interpersonal communication skills and uses his experience in mediation, coaching, facilitation, and training to support individuals and transform group dynamics. Jason has worked with churches across the denominational spectrum including Mennonite, Christian Reformed, Presbyterian, Baptist, United, and non-denominational churches.
Jason has an extensive background in not-for-profits, social services, faith-based institutions and family mediation. He has a M.A. in Leadership from Royal Roads University, a B.A. with a double major in English and Psychology, and an Advanced Certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation. Jason is an accredited Family Mediator and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario. He is also a member of the Human Resource Professional Association, the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario and the Association for Conflict Resolution.
Jason’s work is informed by curiosity. He loves meeting individuals where they are at and assisting them to unleash their potential. Through deep listening and loving people for who they are, Jason believes that individuals and groups can be transformed to allow themselves to thrive and deepen their relationship with God.
